The HELEX HE 6000 O is a fully automatic, industrial push-feed optimizing cross-cut saw line engineered for high-capacity solid timber processing. Designed for continuous, unassisted operation at the discharge end, this automated system enables a single operator to manage the entire timber cutting process from a central touch-screen panel. The machine handles solid timber boards, battens, softwoods, hardwoods, finger-jointed lamellas, and glued lamellas, making it ideal for pallet manufacturing, furniture plants, wooden house production, and glulam facilities. It processes raw workpieces with feed lengths from 1,000 to 6,000 mm and cross-sections up to 300 x 120 mm.
The line is built on a heavy-duty, common welded steel base weighing 3,500 kg, which completely eliminates structural vibrations. It is configured from six synchronized functional groups: an automatic chain-driven infeed table powered by a 2 kW servo motor, a 4 kW servo push-feed unit with AirTAC linear guides and precision rack-and-pinion transmission, a fully enclosed 5.5 kW sawing cabin with a 500 mm blade operating at 3,000 rpm, an industrial SICK color code recognition system, a 9,000 mm sorting conveyor with 6 pneumatic kicking legs powered by a 2 kW servo motor, and an independent sloped waste conveyor table. The blade is raised and lowered by a dedicated 4 kW servo motor, delivering an ultra-fast cutting cycle of 0.2 seconds per cut. All transport speeds are electrically adjustable from 1 to 150 m/min via intelligent speed control, requiring no mechanical adjustments when changing cutting programs.
