WORKABLE PANELS

SUPPORT STRUCTURE

• Monolithic gantry base with upper main beam made of electro-welded carpentry 

• Nr. 4 upper operating units installed on the 2 working centres A (sx) and B (dx) moved by the main axes: 

- X-axis - Nr. 2 movable and parallel beams installed on the upper main beam with independent sliding on linear rails;

- Y-axis - Nr. 2 (nr. 4 total) wagons with independent sliding on linear rails for each movable beam X;

- Z-axis - Nr. 2 wagons with independent sliding on linear rail guides for each movable beam Y.

WORKING UNITS

• Nr. 4 boring heads (nr. 2 for each centre A and B) each composed of:

- Nr. 14 Independent chucks for vertical drilling in the "X" direction;

- Nr. 18 Independent chucks for vertical drilling in the "Y" direction;

- Nr. 3 Independent chucks with double outlet for horizontal drilling in the "X" direction;

- Nr. 3 Independent chucks with double output for horizontal drilling in the "Y" direction.

• Nr. 2 Revolver storages with 56 positions each, for the automatic tool change of the vertical chucks tips of the 4 drilling units of the 2 machining centres A and B.

• Nr. 1 3.7 Kw (5 HP) electrospindle with  clamping system ISO 30 complete with:

- Inverter 

- 3-position rack for tool change.

LATERAL POSITIONER UNITS THE SX AND DX PANEL 

• Nr. 2 working sites for the double processing of 2 identical or mirrored panels

• Fixed left side unit for lateral panel reference

• Movable right side unit in X direction on the lower beams with movement on linear rails and automatic movement according to the lenght X of the panels. Brushless' with digital activation, detection of the real data of the panel length X in the machine and automatic correction of the drilling dimensions from NC.

• Each positioner unit supports:

- Nr. 2 front stops, one for each work area ( total 4 in the machine), pneumatically released in Z direction and fixed in Y direction;

- Nr. 2 independent front stops, one for each work area (tot. 4 in the machine), sliding on linear rails. Brushless' with digital activation, detection of the real Y-width data of the panels in the machine and automatic NC correction of the drilling dimensions in the double processing of mirror panels;

- No. 2 lateral rails in phenolic stratified for the lateral reference and the support of the panels at both ends.

WORKING TABLES: 

• Nr. 5 independent motorized work tables in X direction with 'Brushless' with digital activation with sliding on linear rails. Each table has 2 independent high-friction belts (1 for each work station) each driven by a 'Brushless' motor and digital activation . Max. translation speed is 120 mt/min.

• Pneumatic vertical release of the tables no. 1, 2, 4 and 5 for automatic NC exclusion below the respective lateral positioning units of the sx panel (plans no. 1 and 2) and right panel (plans no. 4 and 5): this function is required for feeding the panel with a minimum length of 240 mm X.

• Plans with NC programmable positioning: the software is equipped with an optimizer that automatically prepositions them according to the drilling pattern to be executed.

• Nr. 10 mobile vacuum units, 5 for each work area, installed inside each worktop and manually positioned in the Y direction; 90 mc/h vacuum pump.

PANEL INTRODUCTION SYSTEM

• Nr. 1 Belt conveyor with transversal feeding and double motorization

CHIP REMOVAL SYSTEM

• Belt conveyor for unloading chips and scraps from machining operations

LUBRICATION

• Centralized and automatic lubrication system; at time intervals programmed on the NC, the system automatically sends the lubricant to the linear rails and ball screws.

- Y-axis - Nr. 2 wagons - 'YA' and 'YB' wagons - installed respectively on the beams of the 2 horizontal lateral groups (centre A and B) with independent sliding in the Y-direction on linear rails;

- Z-axis - No. 2 'W' working wagons - 'ZA' and 'ZB' installed on the respective 'Y' moving wagons with horizontal sliding on linear rails in the operating direction Z. 

OPERATING UNITS

• Nr. 2 boring heads (nr. 1 for each centre A and B) each composed of:

- Nr. 18 Independent horizontal chucks for vertical drilling in the "Y" direction;

• Nr. 2 horizontal insertion units (nr. 1 for each centre A and B) with 5+5 glue injectors and dowel inserters, each consisting of:

- Nr. 5 High pressure glue injection units and insertion of dowels that can be positioned at centres multiple of 32 mm with sliding on "ball-bushing" bars and with independent automatic positioning of the single injector on the Z wagon;

- Nr. 1 feeder with 8-way vibrator (to. 2) for the feeding and selection of the dowels.
